I Really Hate To Admit This . . .

But I really have liked the way Harper and the Conservatives have handles this whole "Quebec as a nation" situation. I've been watching it here in the news room for the past two days and I'm pretty impressed at the way it's going.

I'm just glad that the Liberals and the NDP are behind the Tories on this as well because it helps to show the difference between Canada and the States. Whereas the US has two opposite camps always at each other's throat no matter the cost, this helps to show the compromise of this country. We're willing to look at this issue and instead of build our walls and hide in our bunkers, we can come out and talk about it . . . while at the same time screwing over the separatists

I'm pretty happy about that.
