Please excuse language however:
I GOT A FUCKING 'A' IN ONE OF MY CLASSES LAST TERM!!!!!
I HAVEN'T GOTTEN AN 'A' SINCE THIRD YEAR!!!!
FUCKING RIGHT!!!!!!
Now, the explanation:
the Queen's Political Studies department does not give out anything higher than an 85.
Very rarely doe they give marks that high and that is what we are told when we enter the program.
No sweat, you just get used to seeing a whole lotta 70's on your transcript and move on with your life.
So, I just checked my marks online just to make sure I hadn't failed any of my courses (As of a week ago I
still had an overdue assignment that I emailed to a prof a week today). Also, upon reading my archives you
will notice that I really did not put a whole lot of effort into my last semester of school. In other words:
I was at school from January to May? Hunh? I didn't attend a class in February . . . I called it my extended
reading week. So, my marks from last semester ranged from 58 to 81 - quite a distance to go.
But its a lot better than I expected!
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
